SATURDAY: In honor of the two biggest Chicago Blues rivals, Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf, Fedora Blues was created to revisit the feel of these two masters. Chicago Blues was known for including guitar, harmonia, piano, bass, and drums with lots of emphasis on a good hook.

After Raindrop’s set, I was unexpectedly pulled away from Darwin’s for the evening. I apologize to anyone who’s picture I didn’t get to take, I’ll get you at the next Jam!
Light Painting: I’m a big fan of light painting, and I’ve decided to start a series of light paintings around town. Light painting is essentially a photograph using a long exposure and various sources of lights to “paint” your picture. In this case, I’m using the headlight/taillights of passing cars to create interesting lines of floating light. These shots came out pretty good as tests, I’m not happy with my compositions so I’ll go back and try again later. I’ll be teaming up with fellow photographer Kamil Lee of Pantau Photo to work on some collaborative light paintings on a weekly basis!
